AAI holds talks with U.S. Commercial Service for enhanced participation and cooperation in field of


A meeting was recently held at Airports Authority of India’s Corporate Headquarters at New Delhi between AAI`s Business Development Unit, headed by S. Suresh Member (Finance) and a team of U.S. Commercial Service, headed by Gregory Taevs, Acting Deputy Minister Counselor, and Spencer Dickerson, Senior Executive Vice President for Global Operations and Secretary for the Board of Directors for the American Association of Airport Executives.

Speaking on the occasion, Suresh stressed upon the strategic importance of working together with U.S. organisations and suppliers to sustain the unprecedented double digit growth of aviation in India and urge for enhanced participation of American suppliers for Airport and Air Navigation Services-related requirements. He also emphasized that AAI can also offer its assistance for American Airports with its in-house developed, revenue management system SkyRev360.

AAI, U.S. Commercial services and AAAE discussed various avenues and opportunities to participate in the aviation market in India. Both sides agreed for signing an MOU for a long-term cooperation in various aviation related fields like capacity building, digital innovations and various other such initiatives between Airports Authority of India and American Association of Airport Executives.
