ITDC organises training program on financial management for its top management officials


A training program was organised for senior executives of India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (ITDC), a Public Sector Undertaking, under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The training program organised by AIH&TM was conducted at Hotel Samrat. The training was imparted by the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University on ‘Finance & Cash Management' and was aimed at constructive understanding of finance.


The training was attended Piyush Tiwari, Director (Commercial & Marketing), ITDC; Pradip K Das, Director (Finance), ITDC; Head of Departments and other senior executives from the organisation. The training program covered diverse topics such as Accountancy Basics, Accounting Ratios, Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trading Account and Cash management amongst others.


Speaking on the training program, Anita Bimal, GM-HRD, ITDC said, “We are happy to organise such training programmes for our officers of the organisation, which helps us to understand business better. Our belief is that this constructive understanding of finance would benefit all of us at every level. In the past too, AIHTM has initiated such training activities and will continue to do so for the best of the organisation.”


Madhu Vij, Faculty, FMS, Delhi University (DU) added that “I am privileged to be part of such initiative. It’s a great programme by ITDC & AIHTM, this holistic training shall help the employees to gain financial knowledge which shall help them in planning & executing better in day to day operations”
