Sterling Holidays Launches New Resort in Mount Abu


Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited, one of India’s leading leisure hospitality and Holiday companies, has launched its latest resort, “Sterling Mount Abu”. This is Sterling’s third resort in Rajasthan, which increases their total holiday network to 36 resorts across the country. Mt Abu is blessed with its proximity from Ahmedabad and Udaipur, the resort is situated at a short distance from both these cities.


Perched at an altitude of 1,200m (3900 ft.) in the Aravalli range, Mount Abu is Rajasthan’s one and only hill station. Mount Abu used to be the summer retreat of the bygone kings and rulers of Rajasthan.


Sterling Mount Abu features 69 well-appointed guestrooms and offers amenities such as a 24/7 fitness centre, a well-equipped holiday activity centre, a spa for rejuvenation, a luxurious swimming pool, yoga and meditation room, and a state-of-the-art conference hall, which can accommodate up to 140 guests. The resort has a poolside bar and multi-cuisine restaurant which also serves delectable regional cuisines.


As a special experience, the resort also has a private entry from the resort to the forest which facilitates bird watching or a hike exclusively for Sterling guests.

The resort is close to the famous Dilwara Temple, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful Jain pilgrimage sites in the world. Guests can trek to Guru Shikhar, the highest peak of the Aravalli ranges, enjoy the spread of flora and fauna at the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary, visit the Jain temples at the Achalgarh fort, boat in the Nakki Lake, spot crocodiles at Trevor’s Lake and witness the panoramic view of the hill station at Toad rock.
