Stadiums hosting events for e-games are all the rage now

According to a recent report in The New York Times, there has been an exponential growth in e-games industry, raking in more than a billion dollars in revenue. So long, aficionados of e-games enjoyed matches from home on various streaming platforms. However, the 10-million-dollar Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas is all set to change the viewing experience. It is the largest e-sports centre in North America, with flexible seating, a state-of-the-art broadcast studio and an 85-foot-long LED wall. This is not the only facility for e-sports. Last year, Allied Esports opened the HyperX Esports Arena, a 30,000-square-foot former nightclub inside the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas(see picture above). Experts say, the growth of e-sports would not only draw gamers in the field but also bring in big-ticket advertisers.
