Marriott International’s premium hotel, Renaissance Ahmedabad, recently announced the appointment of Puneet Sharma, as the director of Food and Beverages (F&B).
At Renaissance Ahmedabad, Sharma, who comes with over a decade of work experience, will be overseeing the complete operations of the F&B unit of the hotel. In addition to this, he would also be responsible for propelling strategic F&B branding and promotions for the hotel.
Sharma hails from Rajasthan and holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management in Gwalior. He brings along him an extensive experience of more than 15 years in the hospitality sector and has carved out a niche in the F&B segment. He has been affiliated with a range of brands from luxury to economy, the likes of which include Marriott International’s luxury hotel, JW Marriott in Mumbai, along with its other properties such as Sheraton Grand Hotel in Bengaluru, Marriott Whitefield in Bengaluru and Courtyard by Marriott in Gurgaon, as well as other hotels including Novotel, Ibis Chennai OMR.
In fact, he has worked with three hotels during the pre-opening phase not just in the F&B segment but also in operations and events. Thanks to his multi-faceted experience, Puneet has comprehensive understanding of international food and beverage trends, restaurant management and event operations.
