Jakson Group distributes food and dry ration to the poor


The Jakson Group has taken a number of steps to help the poor and the marginalised amid the ongoing national lockdown to fight coronavirus disease (Covid-19). Here is a list of distribution drives undertaken by the company:


Venue – Nithari Gaon, Noida

Date of Distribution – 30th March 2020

No. of beneficiaries – 300 Families (1,200 number of beneficiaries)


Jakson Group recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic has put us all in a state of crisis that continues to unfold every day. During this phase of the 21 day lockdown, many Indians from economically backward sections have faced extreme challenges. These include Daily wage workers who are either labourers, rickshaw pullers & domestic help. Jakson partnered with an NGO Niveda Foundation & supplied groceries including hand sanitizers to 300 families in Nithari Village, Noidawhich is one of the largest & most venerable slums in the area. This will feed a population of 1350 people, 65% of which comprise women & children for a period of 3 weeks. The distribution of commodities was meticulously planned, adhering to the principles of social distancing.


Venue – Islam Nagar, Ghaziabad

Date of Distribution – 2ndApril 2020

No. of beneficiaries – 150 labourers

Jakson Group recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic has put us all in a state of crisis that continues to unfold every day. During this phase of the 21 day lockdown, many Indians from economically backward sections have faced extreme challenges. Jakson partnered with an NGO Niveda Foundation & supplied groceries including vegetables to the 150 migrant daily wage earners from the state of Jharkhand stuck in Ghaziabad due to the current lockdown. The distribution of commodities was meticulously planned, adhering to the principles of social distancing.


Venue – Madan Mohan tala area, Bhasa Para Area and Mondal para, Kali Tala, Jai Shree

Park, Uma Palli - Kolkata

Date of Distribution – 6th April 2020

No. of beneficiaries – 100 Families(400 number of beneficiaries)


In continuation of our efforts to provide food to daily wage earners in the current lockdown, a donation drive was organized Jakson Group in Kolkata yesterday to provide essential food items to 100 families of daily wage earners in the city. The donation drive was organized in partnership with Madan Mohan Kristi Parisad, a local trust.


Venue – Tehsildar’s office – Phaltan, Satara, Maharashtra

Date of Distribution – 17th April 2020


Jakson Group continued its support to various social causes in the nation fight against Coronavirus. 2000 handmade masks stitched by Jakson employee volunteers were handed over to Tehsildar’s office in Satara, Maharashtra to be distributed freely poor people residing in government shelter in the district. In addition to the face mask, bed sheets & sanitizers were also distributed for use by the residents of the shelters.

Venue – Early Learning Center, Kasna, Greater Noida, UP

Date of Distribution – 23rd April 2020

No. of beneficiaries – 30 Family


In continuation of our efforts to provide food to BPL families during the current Covid-19 crisis, Jakson distributed essential food items to families of 30 students enrolled at our Early Learning Centre at Kasna in Greater Noida, UP. The distribution drive was organized on 23/04/2020, in partnership with Niveda Foundation.
