Nivesh Bhagtani has been appointed as the Sales Account Manager at The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts. An alumnus of IHM Pusa, New Delhi, Bhagtani has worked in a gamut of roles handling diverse functions including operations, sales, marketing, regional operations Support and EA to the CEO. In his new role, he will be based out of company’s headquarters in Mumbai and shall be responsible for a diverse portfolio for The Leela’s Hotels across the country.
In the year 2018, as one of the eight finalists, he represented India at World’s Greatest Hospitality Talent Program organised by Emaar Hospitality Group, Dubai.
Bhagtani was selected for InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) flagship hotel management training program- Future Leaders. Within six months of joining the company and amidst his management training program, he was handpicked to work directly with the Regional CEO of IHG as an Executive Assistant.
He is accredited with developing a robust people recognition system for the regional hotels and linking it with the CEO’s communication plan.
As part of his Accelerated Leadership Development Program, in 2016, he was given another challenge to lead and drive the marketing and positioning of Crowne Plaza Greater Noida as Marketing Manager and was awarded as the Future Leader of the Year, while supporting the RGM in Operations.
In his last assignment Bhagtani was associated with The St. Regis Mumbai, part of Marriott International. Having driven great results while leading the sales and operations of residences at The St. Regis Mumbai, he has also instrumental in acquisition and conversion of key clients at the St. Regis Residences.
Besides, he had proactively developed his portfolio of Consulates and Embassies, locking in key businesses for the Hotel. Bhagtani is immensely passionate about reading, driving results and socialising. As an adroit writer, he has written on several subjects and has been published by leading publications including Hindustan Times, Huffington Post et al.
