Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism, KJ Alphons, recently inaugurated the Institute of Hospitality Management at Jodhpur.
In his inaugural speech, the Minister highlighted the fact that India is among the fastest growing Tourism economies in the world. In 2017, Indian tourism receipts went up by 20.8% against a global growth rate of 7%. Alphons hoped that in three years India would be able to double the revenue from foreign tourists.
